Clever idea! Part of me likes that you included the bit of "safron" on the right, but another part of me wishes the eye was a bit closer so I could see even more detail in the view, but there is plenty to see as is. You really have terrific focus with this. Nicely done and different from the rest. Good job.

On my monitor there appears to be a some varying tones in the white background. Did you try to use the white sampler in the level adjustment to create as much pure white as possible?

As for the composition I like what you have but I think if you had the entire cat in the shot it would be a lot more powerful.

Being a dog lover I still like your work so far.

I think I would edit the wood, where the blade of grass is in front, to look like the rest of the stick. Other than that it is pretty much perfect. Great shot.
