I like bright and saturated colors, not enough ones taste. :-)

Getting good shots of birds with white feathers is always a challenge. In this photo the whites in the birds are blown out. For bird shots I usually shoot at -1/3 ev to make sure that I blow out the whites. If the bird is close enough I will use a "fill flash" to open up shadows.

What a beautiful clear photo. Love the fall colours reflecting in the water and I like that the ducks are swimming into the frame, lots of room, not crowded up. This would look good with a bit cropped off the bottom but it's nice the way it is too.
