While a lightbulb would be a great subject in this challenge, I don't think it is presented as well as it could be here. The clock really doesn't belong in this composition imho - it detracts from the light bulb and with its coloring (vs the colors elsewhere in the shot), doesn't show a lot of contrast.

Excellent idea, I used the same object. Exposure is great. Composition is ok - but I don't think the hands of the clock should be there. The clock face could easily be cropped out to make it stronger. Spots on the wall at left are unfortunate. But overall, it's an excellent image.

nice shot, even if the focus is a tad soft. probably would prefer it without the clock. also, don't know what kind of camera you use, but your sensor might need cleaning.

It's a good idea but there are a few technical issues. The focus is a little off, the white balance looks off (the yellow cast), and the composition isnt so good with the half cropped out clock and the negative space on the right and not on the left. Cropping it above the clock face and having more negative space above the bulb may have helped.
