My Home Townby Prime_TimeComment by moodville: Ah downtown Wichita! The lights are bordering on being a bit too bright/blurry but not overly so. I like the reflections in the river. |

Carpenter Handsby Prime_TimeComment by dsidwell: Quite dark here, and perhaps these hands could use a few other symbols to help us out: tools, workbench, etc. Isolating them, we rely on your title to tell us they are carpenter's hands. I like the framing and cropping here, and the pose of the hands is also effective. |

Carpenter Handsby Prime_TimeComment by dr rick: Although a good idea, this interpretation isn't very compelling. It's too dark, so the interesting details of the hands' surfaces are obscured. Including some context in the background would have also added interest (for example, his woodshop with tools or works in progress showing, or a newly framed house). |
