can't blame you for the success... its unfortunate that this cliche works OVER and OVER again.. My anger is placed solely on the people who time and again embrace this regurgitation.

I admire what you're trying to do here, and I am scoring this well, but in my eyes the image falls short of what it might be, primarily because the flower, which is the strongest single element, is both blown-out and completely out of focus. I understand youw anted the whole thing to be soft, and I have no problem witht hat, but the flower is the SOFTEST thing in the image, and I wish it were vice versa.

okay, so there's a light source (two, even!) in shot, confirming that you most certainly met the challenge. As for the rest.... What is this photo trying to say? I can "see you now", but I am not drawn in by this photo. A shot just for the sake of being in the challenge?
