Sharper focus would improve most aspects of this shot, because the colors are pretty good, the title is interesting, and the spring gives the eye somewhere to rest. |

This subject may have worked well in a vertical (portrait) composition due to the vertical lines in the image. It may have had more impact that way. 5 |

The patterns near the point of impact are too blurred by a fog of dust. The outlying patterns are great. The spring itself is so incongruous as an impacter, that another weapon ought to be considered. |
