I like the composition. The contrast thing might help but I still like the repetitive shapes from different sources. The pattern of the shapes just works out nice.

Sorry for the earlier babble of a comment, voted and the cat had decided to join in the typing.

Love the geometric shapes and the lines just draw you up and up. Just think you over did the saturation the red cast knocks it back a bit for me.

Wonderful geometric shapes! You may be right about the lack of contrast. Increasing it might give the image a greater sense of depth, but I would want to see the full-size image first. It would also be nice to see how it looks with a wide black or white mat to set it off. The colors in the image are too similar to the dpc background. Looking at it in a different setting might change your mind.

Great colors, great focus, great child portrait. However, I fail to see the connection to your selected song/lyrics. There are no visual cues linking him to nature, other than the fact that he's outside. His clothing and toy all seem, well, commercial.
