You're right, elemess. It looks sort of flat for some reason. Maybe it is the direct sunlight, or cloudless sky. I get some that are like this. The scene looks like it should be a great image, then it just don't quite do as expected. It may have worked better earlier or later in the day. It's definitely down town Atlanta. It's nice that you have access to the capitol building!

very nice, proud, and stately image...and yes, JUSTICE is the epitome of GOOD. i think this is the only photo in the challenge that seeks a more philosophical portrayal of GOOD. erm, and in my opinion, these ARE the "good" books i've seen so many photos of this challenge! good luck in the challenge! 9

Nice shot, but the cloud/steam is very distracting. If there is a color version, can you put the color back in the US Flag to draw the eye way from the starkness on the left?

Hi Larry. Have to say that I'm not a fan of this post-processing. Somewhere in here the home looks great and worn, but the branches and grass have become too sharpened or mottled (not sure which) and it really is distracting to the whole. Perhaps a selective desat on the left side to mute the effect of the plant life on the image?
