nice.......not much else i can say...i assume that it was shot with natural light so i can really say the ligh is flattish....i might just suggest as ansel adoms did to watch the weather it looks as if this was shot at dawn dusk or on a cloudy day......when it should've been (for best light) at arough 10:30am or 2:00pm when u get just the right amount of shadow and light......
most dramatic times..........to take in light

Gotta love this. It's rich and luminous, a "pure" photograph that fit's the theme perfectly yet doesn't feel driven by it. To pick a nit, I wish it has half again as much space as it does on the left edge, things are a tad tight over there.... If there's noting left to add back in from cropping, even a black border would help. Regardless, a very strong entry and another 10 from me.

This is my second go-around =) - Yikes! They're so much cuter when viewed further away!!! =) haha. Grea job!!! Excellent crop and contrast. The hot spot on his feathers on the left is a little distracting.

I would bet that a carving knife may be in his future, nice capture of this big fellow, composition is good I think I would like to see the entire red area, your exposure on his back looks a tad over exposed, your DOF is good, all that said, I do like your shot.
