Beautiful light and shadow, lovely golden tones...the sky in the upper left corner is a bit distracting, maybe a different crop would have made a difference? I still like this very much though.

Very nice shot! Composition is great and the colours are rich! I'm loving the DOF as well. What Fstop did you use? (looks like a 5.6...?) I could really see more of those "flower" shots if they were all that good! GW mate!

Hi Phillip, yes thats what i did. I took the sunset picture during a trip to Saipan and thought it really suited the challenge but as you know I could not submit an old picture nor could i simply shoot the whole pic again from my monitor or it would of broke the rules so i had to add something to this to make it original... enter the egyption pens.. Im happy with 16th place my highest to date Thank you everyone for nice comments.
