Thanx for the comments and just for the record these are NOT my nails the belong to a friend who posed for this shot at his workplace where they play Dominoes in their lunch break (industrial hence dirty nails i guess). I will remember that pet hate and to be honest the thought never even crossed my mind but that is why I am here to learn thanks everyone.

i really like this shot, but you have stumbled upon a pet peeve of mine. except under certain circumstances, fingernails should be really really really clean when hands are in pictures.

Way too much space above her, cropping the bottom half or so of the image would improve it a bit, but as it is, especially with her looking down away from the camera, she doesn't hold my attention. The umbrella is more of a focal point.
