The Masterby MAKComment by Neuferland: Wow, up close and personal and scary! :)
Yes, they can be the masters of camouflage and disguise and while this is a wonderful macro of said Praying Mantis, it's not really being hidden or camouflaged very well now is it? I would have liked this much better if it was further back and showing me how it was hiding itself. The focus seems a bit soft overall, even on the face part. But again, wonderful effort on the whole. A 7 |

The Masterby MAKComment by LalliSig: Too bad about the focus, I would probably have liked this if it had been in tack sharp focus. Fits the challenge though. |

The Masterby MAKComment by talmy: If photographed from a greater distance, it would be camouflaged against the leaf it it probably on. As it is, it isn't in hiding at all. Photographically the focus is soft and it needs more DOF to get the antenae as well as the head. |

Incredible Journeyby MAKComment by adamweb: i'm no expert becase i'm making 4's myself but i like the selective desat in the last frame it just bothers me that the first two are red and green, i feel they should be black and white also, good shot though! |
