I really like this. On my monitor, you kept detail in the shadows perfectly, including the slightly obscured eye which is awesome (including the catchlight). I think your lighting is wonderful here. If it were me, I would bring up the contrast a little with a subtle curves adjustment. Just to let the highlights shine a little bit more, but without losing your low-key treatment. That is a matter of personal taste, though. I would also burn down the brighter side of the backdrop to have more of a vignette and hold the eye in the frame. Those are minor things. This is truly a beautiful portrait. Nicely done.
