Shades of Autumnby MAKComment by timfythetoo: One of the best portraits in the challenge IMO. The background is a wonderful frame. The colors, bokeh and patterns work wonderfully together. Great detail and focus on your model and the fact that your model isn't one of those super pretty people (not that he is ugly by any means - just a normal guy) adds to the realness of the image. Well done. |

Shades of Autumnby MAKComment by Retroesque: Just wonderful colours. Good model, but the eyes are lacking. A reflector would have done wonders here, if you don't have one, you might benefit from trying the 'Pimp those Eyes' tutorial by idnic.
Slight dodge above the right eye would also have stopped the eyebrow looking so extreme. |
