Insight by MAKComment by aimeethetoo: I like the blown highlights and her eye is beautiful. I think the hair in her face is also pleasing. 8 |

Insight by MAKComment by jonfrommk: Wow. I have to say that I am not a big portrait fan in free studies, but occasionally DPC throws up an image that just stops you in your tracks and leaves your speechless
This is one of those shots
Love the fact that even though you have gone for only a half face portraitt (my favourite) that you have got it filling the screen so well
Love the high key and the outstanding shapness.
Terrific B&W conversion

7Bby MAKComment by dainmcgowan: great use of the wide angle to create the curves.
nice job on the b/w (and maybe some tone mapping as well).
processing smells a bit like MAK.
my pick for the blue. |

7Bby MAKComment by Nordlys: Great composition, and I like the idea of creating curves from straight lines using a fisheye. The HDR treatment is a bit too much for my tastes. |

7Bby MAKComment by Techo: HDR really well done. I'm normally one to like it subtle to help with the exposure or if done right to get a real HDR style of effect, it should look sharp like this. Clever way to get a shot like this for the challenge using the wide angle ;) It's sorta Harry Potterisque. |
