An Ancient Predatorby toddheadComment by arpita: Very unusual and appealing picture. First time a crocodile (or thereabouts :)) hasn't looked downright ugly :D Seriously, though, great timing and great composition. Very well seen too! |

An Ancient Predatorby toddheadComment by Strikeslip: Really great poster-shot. Nice dof & natural framing in the foreground with the grass. The green floaty stuff goes nicely with the natural frame, and is almost a total frame itself, pulls everything together, and gives a soft feel around the subject. The 'pose' is awesome! [10] |

Spreading Her Wings by toddheadComment by ubique: Outstanding depiction of a child's tentative discovery of independence. The ankle deep exploration, the slightly giddy pose, and the thoughtful composition (shallows below the diagonal & the deep above), make this an effective metaphoric as well as literal depiction of independence. 9 |

Spreading Her Wings by toddheadComment by AutumnCat: I love the contrast between the white dress and the deep blue of the water. Lovely image. I like how this fits the challenge, as well. |

Cool shot. I've not mastered that multiple thing yet. How'd you do it? Very effective! |
