Thoughts of Lauraby peeteComment by shadow: not a very strong example of selective desaturation here, i'm afraid. the face of the person seem to be the focus point, and thus, the red on his arm is just "distraction" more than interesting. i'm sorry, but its my opinion on this particular photo. |

Thoughts of Lauraby peeteComment by LadeeM: I like the selective desat. And I AM a fan of it. :) Just having the red is like a drop of blood. Very profound and telling, it conveys the emotion you are looking for IMO. |

Thoughts of Lauraby peeteComment by petrakka: mehh to be honest I think it's confusing. Red is the color that draws the eye most in every photo...My eye isn't sure if it is supposed to look at the tattoo, or the dudes face, which appears to be the subject of the photo.
Take into account I'm not a big fan of selective desaturation though. |

Thoughts of Lauraby peeteComment by Jutilda: Interesting angle, like you're trying to "get in his head" which I like. The single color saturation works on this one. Nice crisp focus. Black and white works well here. |

Harp; playing it smoothby peeteComment by LalliSig: Pretty cool, nice timing and the drop totally makes a pretty good but still just average shot to something much better. I also like that the image is very high key and the lighting is very good and so is the composition, one of the best images in the challenge as far as I am concerned, got a 9 from me. |
