I like the rawness of this image and I like images that could have a story to tell. the contrast, sharpening, saturation, grain, harshness of the light and even the subject are all skirting the fine line between just raw enough and over the top. very impressive balance all around.

Here's my two cents. :)
I like the sepia effect too, however the picture feels a little bit too yellow or something... I've found that desaturating it a tad usually helps when I have that problem. Also the composition feels a little busy. I don't know if that's just the angle or what. Maybe the ground needs a little cropping off...
but other than that, this is a really cool image, with a very interesting subject! I like it a lot - keep shooting.
