You know...I almost did this, but second guessed myself. Thanks to everyone for all of the comments and suggestions. I love being able to see things through someone else's eyes.

Interesting the way the negative version makes it look illuminated. Something about the top half with all of the horizontal lines around the lid just doesn't feel like it flows with the contents of the jar for me. But I don't have any suggestions for improving it either, so I guess it can't be that distracting to me!

Yes, it does look like a bulb within a pile of shells, but I see it's a negative now. Good cropping.

I saw your note about comments on yesterday's experiment. I totally missed it yesterday, and just went back to see it. It really touched me, and seeing the comment about it needing a story I added a possible one. It might be fun to create different stories about some of these pictures.
