It took me a minute to figure this photo out, but now I have its a great creative photo. The pencil is well hidden and the fact that you can see the wording on the pencil and its 'messy hair cut' bothing giving away its identity is nicely juxtaposed to the brushes. I would have opted for a different background though. Regardless, well done.

Lovely photo! Excellent Dof. Focus is crisp and sharp. The color contrasts make this a sharp image. The speckled wings offer a lot of texture and gradient. Well done!

Oh and that eye is ominous to say the least.
