Here I Amby Ricky CleaveComment by Froober: Nothing personal, but I'm sick of flowers. Put a rose anywhere and it will make a beautiful picture. Nice color contrast...the green in the corner is a nice touch too. |

Rootsby Ricky CleaveComment by Ricky Cleave: Thank you to everyone who commented on my photo. This was an 8 second exposure shot. I took it while students were doing their last minute work, so I wasn't about to tell them to stand here for two seconds than stand at the next three for another two seconds it just wouldn't have worked. Even though its a very large darkroom it still is very cramped and this is the only picture I took worthy of being posted in my opinion. You also have to understand I couldn't use my flash just incase someone had photo paper sitting out. All in all I'm pleased with my results but I learned something tonight while on my friends crap computer that will make me saving what I post to its maximum jpg. size. |

Rootsby Ricky CleaveComment by Patella: I'm starting to wonder if all darkrooms looks the same -- right down to the processing reminders on the wall. LOL This is an interesting pic -- I like the idea of the time blur, but I wish the clock didn't look like the person's head. In fact, it would have been cool if we could have seen some motion blur on one or both of the clock/timers as well. Also, since this is a darkroom, I want it to be darker. I know it's a bizarre thing to say, but there you go. |

Rootsby Ricky CleaveComment by Swashbuckler: I remember that! Good use of time exposure. Personal choise, I would have tried to have the subject(s) stand still longer, move less, but your choise works, too. (My reasoning is: I can't tell if there is one person or two) Photo 9 Creativity 9 B&W 9 total 9 |

Rootsby Ricky CleaveComment by mnewman: eek. i remember those days. actually, i enjoyed what you're doing now. the horror for me was spinning the film around that little wheel in the ultra dark room. *shudder* |

Rootsby Ricky CleaveComment by KarenB: Nice idea. Very creative. Looks like you found the picture somewhere - like it was taken a long time ago! |

Rootsby Ricky CleaveComment by Dangerous_blues: Not a big fan of timed exposures, but this one is pretty interesting. Reminds me of my high school darkroom with all the signs etc. |
