Big Birdby Ricky CleaveComment by teachme53: I like the sharp image of the forground and the way the picture is broken up with different textures. A great depth of field really made this image work. The only change I would make is move the person lower and to the left of where it is now. Placing it that high in the corner makes it seem like some one walked into the pictue by mistake. Very good image overall and deserved a higher final score. Good luck in the future. John Gill |

All In Good Tasteby Ricky CleaveComment by Swashbuckler: Wildly interesting effect! I know I'm asking for too much, but the level of detail isn't very high (I know this wasn't the BEST reflecting surface). The yellow row is just off the center of the globe/thing - to me, this takes the emphasis away from that box and generalizes it. (The box above seems to have really bright yellow
?jellybeans?) I do like how the boxes seem to roll off the edge of the ball into infinity (good for last week's challenge, too!). Are those fingers holding the ?ball? on the lower right? (No score issue, just asking) Crop - I think the top and bottom needed to be included, but I think you might have been trying to hide the fingers, so I'll not gripe too much. 6 Swash |

Big Birdby Ricky CleaveComment by PTLParsons: Beautiful photo. Love how you start at the very bottome with the water and follow it all the way to the ocean. Great job of focus. Good composition nicely executed> BUT , and I'm as tired of writing this as others will be of reading it once the challenge ends, I personally feel you have not meet the challenge. Waldo was/is to be HIDDEN in among he people, places, and things. I understand your thinking. But to me, putting Waldo way off by himself does not meet the challenge of hiding him. But I dolove the hoto other wise. |
