The Sittingby CutterComment by VictoriaSecretGarden: Look at the eyes on that guy. His demeanour looks almost regal and I sense some Papillon? How big is he?
Whatever he is, he is a miracle of a dog, a combination that would be great to figure out and breed specifically. Humane Society pups really are the best, aren't they?
Wonderful portrait and I wish I had been able to vote. Should have scored higher but that often happens... |

The Sittingby CutterComment by macrothing: "Anyone want to venture what different breeds may have contributed to this crazy guy?"
- at first he looked a little like another dog I had viewed in this Challenge, an 'Icelandic Sheep Dog', by djonson: ....I'd never heard of an Icelandic Sheep Dog, but then there was another, by unneva:
Otherwise, a few 'guesses' might be perhaps a corgi/fox terrier mix (especially because of those big ears), it is a little difficult to guage his size from the image, but perhaps a papillon was involved, long-haired chihuahua, who knows. One thing is for sure, this is a lovely looking dog with a cute face and a 'fine set of ears' now captured in a fine photograph. Best of all, he now has a home. |

The Sittingby CutterComment by Chinabun: I really like this one too. He looks so soft and fluffy. It makes me want a dog. Oh yeh and your photography was amazing also :) |

The Sittingby CutterComment by De Sousa: There's always unfair results around... Shots like this should be at first places instead of these creating the poor front page of this week. |

Windswept Paletteby CutterComment by Citadel: My first comment was going to be this: "I like the colors but they are far oversaturated in my opinion."
By the time I wrote that however, my opinion changed. I still think the colors are oversaturated but it works well here. There is a surreal look and feel to this shot that is enjoyable.
I like the leading lines created by the water as well as the silhouetted trees in the distance. |

The Sittingby CutterComment by pawdrix: This is a great shot. How do we train people to understand that there's nothing wrong with this shot? Rules, rules, rules... |
