The border adds nothing to the image (IMO) it actually detracts from the overall impact. nice focus, good detail, sutle colors. Like the concept.. many of us need to open up a bit more.

Nice work with the backlighting? and colour. It looks very similiar to a thin shell I have seen on the beach. A very striking image that should do well.

I like this - apart from the petal which is lying flat. The lighting on this one petal is too strong giving it some very hot areas, and a different colour cast.

The rest of the flower is beautifully photographed though. The stamen are nice and sharp, and the tips of the petals are nicely *just* out of focus, giving them a nice soft appearance.
