Beautiful scene, however it seems a bit awkward to me. The sky is dark, gloomy, and uninviting while the foreground is the exact opposite - inviting, vibrant color. While this contrast makes for an interesting effect, it's quite a stretch from what the eye would see. I'm guessing (though I can't be sure) that you shot raw and combined a dark and light exposure to make this photograph.

On the bright side, however, this image is a very interesting study in surrealism.
