This is such a deserving ribbon. I loved this shot and gave it a 9. I love your story behind the photo. I guess I am the opposite of you...you carefully think about every shot and you only took 14. I would have taken 314! I need to learn from you to think more carefully in these situations. Great work!

The shoes are too clean - nice composition though - a panoramic shot with less of the person and a little more swing on the shoes would make this a winner! The way this is framed the eyes are drawn to study the hand holding he shoes, and the hand does not fit the relaxed setting of this picture. Lovely lovely sunset though!
