Golden hour shot. Great lighting here. The pose, crop and composition work well to put together a strong image. Nice work. -danny

Sweet... You succesfully captured the shades of light trhougout the image. No easy trick! I'm not sure why, but I don't get the feeling of motion here. The image seems to want to emote it, but I don't feel it. Good luck!

Lovely pastel colors. Maybe a tad more shaprened. Then again, maybe you want a softer focus. Nice photograph!

I like the reflection and the ripple in the water. The tones are interesting, almost pastel except for the reeds/weeds/grass. The orange/yellow and black of the beak stands out nicely compared to the white of the swan. Exposure looks ok too.

Beautiful bird. Focus and DOF are good. The composition could have been more interesting with the bird more off center or something.

If you'd been able to get a shot of the swan without the grass in the background, this would've looked very cool and high-key. With the grass in the background, it just looks sorta... overexposed. The reflection is beautiful, and the colors in the water are lovely.

You seriously deserved a *MUCH* higher placing. I had you pegged for a ribbon. This is a wonderful shot and I'm including it as a favorite. I *LOVE* the spin on the ball!

I think it's great and I disagree what others say about thinking it should have been completely stopped. However, I wouldn't be surprised if it would have scored higher if there was actually players in the photo (not that there really could be in this particular photo)

A nice stop action here would have scored real high from me.
