The narrow DOF makes the red spikes seem delicate rather than threatening. You could create a bit more contract by boosting the saturation a bit - the red and green will contrast nicely. Perhaps a bit of buri=ning to emphasize the shadows and structure. I like your close composition and how it shows the structure of the plant. I would crop in both on the right and top to loose that piece of ground in the corner. This should put the center of the plant more on the "thirds line" which would make a more dynamic shape.

The lamps seems to distract me from the main purpose of this image and so does the puddle with the bright highlights. Once I get past that, the vanishing point is apparent and executed nicely. Focus seems to be off a bit.

This isn't one of my favorites, but I like how the puddle is focused and shows a reflection even though its night time. I also like the how the streetlamps give a nice glow and don't look like their shining in my eyes. 7

Hmm. A nice star effect would have worked well on the lights. Not sure if all camera's work the same way,. but with mine when I bump it up to F8 and drop the shutter a bit I'll get the nice twinkle from the lights instead of a blurry ball. Sorry if ya already know all this. Just trying to be helpful for once. Still a nice photo though.
