There is a lack of sharpness to this photo and I think most of it is due to the use of excessive JPEG compression. (maybe some heavy use of neatimage as well?) Your file size of only 52k indicates a highly compressed image and that is what is likely robbing a lot of the detail and sharpness from this image. Check your compression settings when you save your file. Always adjust JPEG compression so that your file size is as large as possible, but within the challenge limit. (200k for this one) Here is how it works in Paintshop Pro, along with more explanation of compression, if is is of any help:

Seems just a tad blurry, which is distracting me for some reason. Otherwise, I like the lighting, but the strong horizontal line doesn't really do much for this photograph.
