This is awesome. I love the colors and that they aren't "models," but real people - veterans... yet still enjoying the same thing as a child would - the sea.

Zowie. I wish I had taken this picture myself!

To a certain extent I agree with the comments about the shadow at the top. On the other hand, there is no guarantee that if you came back at another time you would have the perfect cloud in the perfect place. 8)

Later.. I suppose one way to lessen the impact of the shadow would be to get rid of the white portion surrounding the window frame altogether. To me the shadow is less noticeable on the green area and hardly noticeable at all on the glass/cloud portion of the picture.

I just don't think it's that big a deal. 8)

WOAH!!! Love the blues and greens. What really does it for me is the cloud reflection. This is outstanding!!!

I love this. The colors, the frames, the composition. It's just a magnificent still life. The only thing that seems to get to me is the blown highlights. Still a beautiful picture

Comment by Qiki:
unlike some b/w flower shots this works for me because the pattern on the petals is enough to carry the image without any colour.

I'm giving this photo a 10, but I think it needs a little more breathing room between the edges of the subject and the border. It's a bit cramped... it does make an excellent b/w though.. nice work :)
