Fracture Of Lightsby PeshiksComment by photom: A very interesting arrangement. Nice colors and textures. Make it even better by: a) Toning down the white pyramid at the bottom right, and 2 apply some curren to the filament and make it barely glow an orangy color. Overall - it's an excellent submission as is. |

Fracture Of Lightsby PeshiksComment by redmoon: of all the light bulb pictures, this is by far the most ethereal... you've almost constructed a whole new world for DP Challenge - looks like a sci-fi film set... i think the quantity of the black in the background draws the eye away from whats going on somewhat (if the bulb was lower this effect might have been reduced) but in all, a damn good composition. 7. |

Fracture Of Lightsby PeshiksComment by robw: Well staged, interesting collection of objects to manipulate the light sources and produce colour. Lost points for the light globe because the predictable object spoils the effect of the other objects a little. Also a little blurry. Score 6. |

Woman with dogby PeshiksComment by zeuszen: Not exactly a technical tour-de-force (the exposure is beginning to wash out the sky and unable to render tones in the brightest margins/the horizon has a slight counter-clockwise tilt/the crop/framing is tight enough above the woman's head to distract from her grand and solitary splendour), but what a hilarious and surreal capture!
Although the casual, snap-shot manner contributes some charm to this image, a slight corrective rotation is, IMHO, needed to make it credible.
The shot is and remains priceless! Message edited by author 2004-05-26 23:25:39. |

Fracture Of Lightsby PeshiksComment by DianaB: Beautiful texture and contrast - gorgeous colours. For 'me' it would have been perfect without the silvery pyramid at bottom right. But still a 'wowing' photo, I think. |

Fracture Of Lightsby PeshiksComment by Zal: This is really strange, in an interesting way! I'd like to know what those things are (other than the light bulb of course), and what the "meaning" is here. |
