I don't know if I would have cropped image this way. I might have been tempted to align the top of the print with the upper chrome. Lighting is good, picture just doesn't hold that much interest for me.

I think the lighting is pretty good in this picture. I can't even begin to guess what this is and maybe that̢۪s what makes me look at this in an abstract way. It just doesn̢۪t seem to grab me as an image and perhaps it̢۪s my own lack of understanding of what I am looking at. My eyes are running all over the place without a point of focus.

Isn't it a beautiful building? I have a vaguely similar shot in my challenge entries portfolio from way back - soooo photogenic isn't it? Did you go inside the library to get a good look at the ceiling from in there? Cool eh?
PS The exposure seems a little out. It might be worth adjusting levels to bring the details of the stone building out more?
