I'm sorry, I don't pick up on the humor here. Perhaps the submission is from a different culture than mine...which could explain the difference in humor? Anyway, I'm an inlander and have no idea what's funny to clammers. :-) So, for my lack of understanding... I'll give this a 7 rather than a lower score. And, it's kind of a cool picture to look at, nevertheless.

Way to think out of the box! Stairs are indeed about as low tech as it gets. The position of the camera relative to the stairs here is great, as it properly shows the scale and position of the staircase. Still, with the harsh light coming from the corner so forcefully, I'm really distracted and my eye keeps going to the light instead of the the stairs. I think a daytime capture of this same scene would do much better.
