This is a fine image. There isn't much to draw in the viewer who doesn't know who this person is. Your camera angle is a typical height and isn't giving us a view that is unique to the occassion. The DOF chosen is very deep and doesn't blur out the background enough to make your bride the center of the shot. The foliage being so close to her prevents a blur of the background even at a larger F/stop. With her looking down at the flowers we are drawn to them, but with the crop and zoom you've chosen, there is not enough attention made to the flowers so the eye again drifts off to other parts of the image. I would have tried to use either a higher elevation for the shot, or lower angle looking up into her eyes. I'd choose a large F/stop and focus on the flowers in her hand making her face and body somewhat out of focus. The bouquet to me is the focus of the picture and I would have worked towards making the viewer appreciate the moment by using emotive elements in the capture. 5 - danny

I think you have met the challenge well here by showing at least two primary areas of "off-centeredness." First, the main subject is off-center in the frame, and secondly, he is obviously "off-center" relative to the ground (meaning that he is not still or "stable"). The lighting is good, and the exposure works well here. The light areas are not blown out and the darker areas still have some details.

I think i tend to agree that the buildings in the background make it look cluttered. However, not knowing the landscape, I have difficulty suggesting improvements. Perhaps moving more to the side and taking the shot closer to the pole/support and looking further up.

Overall, it is a good shot, technically, but some people may have had difficulty seeing or understanding exactly what was happening. I know it took me several seconds.

Something else that may have been interesting would have been to try and "pan" the shot so that the background was blurring, but he was basically still focused really giving the sense of motion.
