Funny subversion of the challenge, though the actual photo could be better. Seems like the bright opening in the back threw off the exposure metering and made the rest too dark.

This is not what I'd pictured when I thought Pencil, but you did make me laugh out loud! The pencil is a little blurred and the chickens in the distance get pretty dark and grainy, but I still like this shot, just for it's out of place outrageousness! I'm even going to to give you an 8, for the humor of it all. Swash

One of the more interesting and original shots this week. I would liked to see a sharper focus on the pencil and maybe a lower angle, but I like the photo.

This looks like a ride at a fair or carnival. Not real sure that they LOOK like they are for sale, but rather just decoration. That, however, is just an observation, an opinion. It will not affect my rating of this photo. I love the angle this was shot at. Also, I like how the entire photo seems to be in great focus. I have to admire this due to the fact that I only have auto-focus and have to do what my camera tells me to do. lol. Lighting is great. Wish there was less unidentified stuff in the background, but that's not your fault. I have to wonder how these were made. Pretty cool. Good luck with the challenge.
