I think out of the apple core photos this week, this is one of my favorites. Your lighting is good and the angle and framing/cropping you have chosen are also very nice. The background works perfectly here. I like how the red/white apple stands out on the blue background. maybe that's just the USA speaking up in me, but I like the colors a lot. :) I like the fly, but he's a little blurry, if you could have just asked him to stand still and look into the camera....lol just kidding. Overall a really nice shot, one of my high scores this week. Good luck in the challenge. ~Hbunch7187~
