Too cool. Out of the other chess submissions, this is my favorite. Nice angle and lighting. Keeping everything in focus was a testiment to your ability...great job.

I like the concept of the way the chess pieces are lined up. I'm not good at technical critiquing, but there's something about the overall greenish tint to the board itself I'm not crazy about.

I really like this iidea a good bit. The chief issue I have with the image is the bokeh, or lack there of. Because of the depth of field decision made by you (or the camera) the background of leaves stands out too much. It does not look visually appealing. I'd suggest either using a shallower apature setting if you are shooting with a dSLR, or using the macro or flower mode on your digital point and shoot. Great idea though!

Great shot. The background is a bit distracting and, with so much angularity to this, it would have pushed that even further to see the pieces arranged symmetrically. A near perfect image. Well done.

This is really intresting! I think the background sort of takes away from the picture. It seems a little blown out. Nice job though!
