water-on-the-rocksby greslizzzComment by greslizzz: Thanks for the comments (the real thing that matters), I feel I failed somehow because there wasn't many comments in the picture.
The dark objects are actually rocks :), beautiful rocks we found in our trips.
I applied again oilpaint filter to give the melting feeling except in the red ice cube (red laser pointer light)
Cheers, and I hope I get more comments this week ;) |

water-on-the-rocksby greslizzzComment by Pangurban: Really love the melting effects on this, Colours are just lovely and the crystalline details in the ice cubes beautifully sharp. One of my favourites. |

sphinxby greslizzzComment by stevieian: I agree with the consensus that your score would be much higher in a different challenge. Beautiful image!, and I understand why you you wanted to submit it. But these guys are sticklers for meeting the challenge. Thanks for posting the action link; I'm going to check it out! |

sphinxby greslizzzComment by greslizzz: Thanks for your comments, I must confess that I also think it fits only partially the subject's challenge. But I was so happy about the result picture that I submmited it anyway.
Don't You see the right angle in the cat: legs T body? :) je, je
It is an HDR picture using finally oilpaint filter from Adobe //www.adobe.com/technology/projects/oilpaint.html
I'm glad You liked it!

sphinxby greslizzzComment by Zita: Absolutely love this photo: the composition, the colors, your treatment, the beefy vehicle, that really cool feline! I mean REALLY COOL CAT! (Great harness - wish I could find something like that for my big tomcat.) Regrettably, I'm struggling to understand how it fits the "right angles produce the strength of the image" challenge. Nonetheless, on merits outside the parameters of the challenge: two thumbs up! |

sphinxby greslizzzComment by MadMan2k: This is beautiful, I sure hope you post the 'recipe' for the processing of this one. I see some right angles and that's good enough for me, but if you take the challenge description literally I don't know if they add any strength to the photo. In a free study I'd give it a 9, probably still an 8 without the fascinating effect, so for this challenge it's still a 7 |
