Seventh Street Grilleby mcrochipComment by RedRuthann: Unfortunately, I'm not sure what I'm looking at. Is it the building or the sign. I'm being very frank in my comments - not to offend. The don't think the tilt is working with this photo. It's hard to comment on something I don't understand. What is the main subject of the photo - the sign. the building structure, the restaurant.. There should be on object in which the photo will guide the eye to. Too much guess work for me. The color is good and the focus. Just my opinion - not to offend. 4 Ruthann |

Seventh Street Grilleby mcrochipComment by jmsetzler: If this place is old, I would have tried to capture its age with a different camera angle... When I look at a building from this angle, I think cutting the entrance way out of the photo is not a good idea. This photo also needs some more contrast and sharpness to come off well... - jmsetzler |

Summer in Venice(ian Blinds)by mcrochipComment by drewmedia: The very middle-grey color of the blinds in this shot I think brings the overall effectiveness down -- pulling the vivid color of the background closer to very bland tones. This is surely largely because of the material of the shades, but I think maybe playing with different lighting coming from either in front of or behind the shades might have given you a better color... either lighter and more transparent or a little darker, emphasizing the contrast. |

Summer in Venice(ian Blinds)by mcrochipComment by Maverick: The glare of the car outside is a bit distracting. Also, I would have tried to increase the color saturation a bit. As it is, the image is dull colorwise. I don't feel that the subject is that strong either, but more color may have helped it some. |
