I didn't get to vote on this image but I feel it is an outstanding image. The compositional subjects have great placement, the light is very good, and this photograph has emotional impact. I think good photographs of people, like this one, are much more interesting than photogenic bugs any day. I would have scored this a 10. Congratulations on a wonderful photograph.

I like your interpretation of the challenge. Good catch lights and composition. Perhaps the highlights on the skin are a little bright, but that level of comments is probably beyond my level of experience.
