A technically accomplished photo with a successfully dynamic composition.

Given the balance of light and dark achieved in this image, the expected contrast is softened wonderfully by an incredible tonal range. I think it could also be considered aesthetically interesting, because of the apparently deliberate association of subjects. The contrast between the feminine form and the stark sterility of the room is boldy emphasized by the artificiality of the models pose and position.

It is the association of feminine form with a toilet, which I consider unfortunate. The title itself lends itself to an interpretation which closely ties the French meaning with an English one. This faux-pas, IMO, could have been avoided by a greater distance between the subject and the focal plane, which, in effect, would have made the bathroom the primary subject.

The title (which, by the way, is rightly rendered in unobtrusive lower case for a minimal and generic reading) could then suggest an absence of scents without the expressed connotations present in this presentation.

Strange viewpoint and rotation makes this very intriquing and does add interest. It doesn't actually make me think of the smell but it is the kind of quirky concept image I can see hanging in a gallery.

I think the angle is too much, it makes the image hard to look at, but good idea. I also don't get the feeling of aroma from such a steril bathroom.
