r5.jpgby grigrigirlComment by Jinjit: This is my number one for the cemetary challenge.
This is one of the strongest photo I have ever seen.
The flaming from the sky, that woman in the center of her playground, hhose crosses and the writing on the grave, the colors in the stone...
If there is any god - I am looking at her right now.

r4.jpgby grigrigirlComment by Jinjit: Personally, I think this one is much better then the one you actually entered to the cemetery challenge.
This one is much more dramatic. That pose of the woman is so tempting, but she's nothing then a shadow.
Those crosses look threatening but the sky look stronger.
The only thing that lowers this to a second place IMO is the wall on the left. It doesn't leave any escape. |

In Living Colorby grigrigirlComment by Imagineer: Why shouldn't a gaveyard be full of people jumping around, models posing, photographers clicking? If religion's anything to do with this then there's no worry because the spirits that occupied these deceased persons under the stones have long since fled to Heaven or Hell!
Apart from that, as long as no damage is done, it's really quite harmless. Graveyards use a lot of land - why not make more use of them? |

In Living Colorby grigrigirlComment by GoldBerry: Has a great "awe" factor. Not normally a fan of neat image, but the way you weave the colors and textures like paint is nothing short of pleasing. Your acute attention to contrast and color is again spectacular. Fantastic composition and styling, I give this two cold/clammy thumbs up :-)

In Living Colorby grigrigirlComment by gloda: Me three. I'd have liked to see this one in the top three, along with e301's. It's the dynamic composition which strikes me most. |

In Living Colorby grigrigirlComment by Pedro: I still love this. almost 50 votes at 4 or less? when will these *ahem* voters figure out that it's a PHOTOGRAPHY contest not a moral trial by jury. who gives a crap if you don't like the subject? It's in a cemetery, ergo it meets the damn challenge. It's a technically well executed photo. how on earth could that equal a 1? gr.
Anyway, J - this is fab. well done. deserved better. a LOT better.
high five to all those who could see past their own egos and voted it fairly even if they objected to the subject matter. |

In Living Colorby grigrigirlComment by kearock: What purpose does the model serve? Would have been a cool shot without her...she just seems totally out of place. |
