We were both dealing with our communities being hit by hurricanes. Her wedding is in Lake Charles, LA. She was my one surviving wedding in Oct after Katrina blew through. Then Rita came along and disrupted Lake Charles...two weeks before her wedding! She actually likes this picture. I told her I did this one for me...but that I do think it is the one image that captured the truth of the day. |
