Shared Momentsby dwterryComment by choltmeier: This shot to me captures true intimacy. Fun, love, togetherness. I love the composition and the coloring. Great expressions. Eyes looking down makes me feel like they're sharing a private intimate moment. Great shot! |

Shared Momentsby dwterryComment by senor_kasper: Graet shot!!! except for the background, I am still trying to identify that big white thing in the back that merges with the guy's shirt. Too bad this was basic editing, otherwise you could have done something about it. |

Shared Momentsby dwterryComment by lovethelight: This is beautiful! It is cool that you left it in color though because people tend to make this kind of shot black and white so they can depend on the nostalgia of it, but you have relied on the lovely candid moment, good framing and depth of field to make a strong color image. Nice |

DWT_8286.jpgby dwterryComment by Beetle: David, every time I see some of your awesome wedding photos, I almost wish I could get married again - as long as I could hire YOU as our photographer.
Those couples in front of YOUR lenses are very lucky, indeed. |

DWT_8286.jpgby dwterryComment by danielv: Originally posted by dwterry: This was shot using the 70-200mm lens fully zoomed (200mm) @ f/2.8 and up fairly close (the closer you are, the shallower the DOF), in this case at least 4 feet as that's the minimum focus distance for that lens. |
thanks for the answer. You really need to master the DOF of your lens to be able to do that on the fly...! |

IMG_8295a.jpgby dwterryComment by JustinM: Wow this is just simply a good photo! My only two gripes: I really don't like the "out of place" purple flower in the left corner. And the lighting was sort of harsh which caused some relfections on the oof leaves. Don't know if you were using a polarizer or not but that might have helped. |
