Aptly named. My only suggestion would be to maybe try applying Contrast Masking to the shot, to balance the brights and darks a bit more, as overall the scene appears a touch dark.

I love this shot, between the aircraft itself, the engine glow, and the vapor rolling off the wings, it's just great. The F-22 is my favorite (hence the numbers in my username) and you've really captured the essence of it here.

She looks like she's enjoying herself, but the background here is also different from the normal portrait shots - the marsh grass (?) in the bg brightens the shot up, and really helps offset her and her dark hair.

I really like this one, there's just enough light to show the city and highlight the hills, without ruining the darkness of the undeveloped areas. The composition, with "bands" of light and dark running through the scene, adds a lot to it as well.

I would assume that the reason that this scored low in the "gold" challenge is the "lack" of an overwhelming gold... I mean, come on... she's not painted gold ;)! Personally I like the image alot, and I think it has a very understated, subtle and beautiful golden quality in her skin tones and hair. I didn't vote in this challenge, but had I... it probably would have recieved an 8 or 9 from me.

I like this one the most. There is one thing I wouldn't do: to cut off the boys head. I would try to use the clone tool to erase the thing behind his head.
