This works fairly well although the burn-out is quite severe around the sun. The rocks are a nice touch.

This image was taken with my 20D and had both a Canon 300mm 2.8L lens and a Canon 2x extendeder on it - 600mm actual, 960mm effective focal length.

And you are right, it has not been edited.

I have to say, there are alot of wonderful images in you portfolio. But out of them all this one speaks to me. I love the capture of movement over the wings and the glow of the afterburner. I would try to use selective color in photoshop to bring out the blue in the sky a bit more to contrast the plane a bit but this is a Awesome photo. Could probably make a mint off of it.

What type of lense were you using if you dont mind me asking???

GOSH - I don't think you could have composed this better had you set up the scene in a diorama! Colors are terrific. WOW - fantastic.
