Rusting, resting.by TedvandenBerghComment by whagerbaumer: I like the pose of mother and child. The exposed leg and smooth hands establish a younger age for the mother than the pose and condition of life.
I find the left half of the picture quite uninteresting. As I find the right side worthy of a 9 or 10, I am giving the overall picture a 5. |

Rusting, resting.by TedvandenBerghComment by bpickard: Not sure it meets 'rust' challenge when the real subject/theme is something so very different. I know what you are going for but it looks too clean and (I maybe completely wrong, but that's the the way it looks) too set-up. |
