I love the look of this photo.
At first I only saw the tree. but something looked weird about it so I stared at it some more. It took me a while to notice the ripples and understand this was a reflection.
the feel and look of this is very surreal to me. Great work! (8)

Nice idea. The composition works ok. Wondering if it were possible to get more "ripple" in the water, the effect makes the shot, but as is, it is nearly lost, in fact may be missed by quick voters.

I am usually very lax on what meets a challenge, but I think it would be unjust to vote B & W tonal ranges very high when other people worked to create an image incorporating a light color into a white background. I don't know if that is what you meant to do with the bottom, grayer egg, but it actually is more distracting to my eye than interesting. Sorry.
