Lickby PixelstateComment by Nald: There are shots like this that are few and far between cat shots here on DPC. This one is AMAZING! Nothing I'd change about this at all. Well done, 10 from me. |

Roof, Bird and Skyby PixelstateComment by Germaine: I didn't vote in thic challenge, so this is the first time I've seen this picture. I love the color and symmetry and the quirky subject matter. I'm sorry you fell afoul (no pun intended) of the DNMC-Nazis. |

Roof, Bird and Skyby PixelstateComment by Pixelstate: Well, I thought is was a nice snap. The color in the sky was amazing and matches nicely with the sky blue paint on the underside of the roof.
Thanks all for the comments. |

Fields of goldby PixelstateComment by mycelium: now that the challenge is over and I can see whose image this is, I can be sure that your choice to make the image 550 pixels tall (instead of 640) was a deliberate choice rather than the oversight of one unfamiliar with the customs of DPC. from that standpoint, I still wonder why you chose the smaller size. Was the image just too information-heavy to keep at the full 640? |

Fields of goldby PixelstateComment by Pixelstate: Thanks all for the comments. appreciated.
I took the shot with my 5D and 70-200 f4 L.
I was looking for close-ups of the poppies but couldn't gain access to the field (hence the longer lens)
I'm not sure why I kept the 4x6 aspect, in hindsight this might have looked better in a squarer format. |
