Maple Leavesby PhilipDyerComment by ecdillon: This is beautiful I love the vibrant colors. I would love to have it be and even closer shot so I could see some more of the detail on the leaves. Still it is stunning. |

Japanese Gardenby PhilipDyerComment by elee3009: Certainly the first of its kind I've seen when it comes to a Japanese garden perspective. Really original! Adding it to my favourites. |

Japanese Gardenby PhilipDyerComment by CNovack: I like how you composed this shot. There is a parallel that exists in this shot between the red found in the man-made parosol and that found in nature in the red leaves adorning the trees. I really like this shot for the composition of objects in the shot are aestheticly pleasing not to mention the color hues of reds and greens just grabs and holds the eye's attention. However, I do think there is one thing that would have made the connection to the man-made parasol and the trees in the background all the more stronger. Moving back to get more of the red parasol in the photo composition (say just a little more to show the curve of the umbrella on the right hand side) would strenthen the image of equatingthe canopy of the parasol to the canopy of a tree. Not to mention it would also introduce another interesting feature for the eye to follow - a shape - the curve of the umbrella. |

Pigeon Point Lighthouseby PhilipDyerComment by Rikki: This image speaks to me right now. I guess it's the metaphor for being alone. The sun and the clouds are amazing. Mother nature at it's best is on display here and you just happened to be at the right place and at the right time. Great image Philipp! |

Tokyo Towerby PhilipDyerComment by Rikki: Konichiwa Philip-san :) Awesome shot of Tokyo tower! I was just there not too long ago and it is truly amazing. The desat works very well here because the tower just shines like a diamond trapped against the coals. Very nice capture indeed. |

Ferris Wheelby PhilipDyerComment by suemack: Stunning colours. I really like the way the long exposure has completely altered what I'm looking at, it's ended up looking a bit like a giant dartboard. Lovely shot!! |
